Dental Veneers in Salem, OR
At King Dental, we can dramatically change the look of your teeth with dental veneers.
Dental Veneers are a thin porcelain shell that covers the face of your front teeth. This is a great way to hide those minor dental imperfections that can ruin an otherwise beautiful smile. Dr. King is able to bond veneers to any of your front eight teeth, giving you the look of teeth that are bright, straight, even and just perfect. Without braces or teeth whitening, we can give you the result you desire.10
A Veneer Smile
Veneers are a popular dental cosmetic procedure, our patients enjoy the enhanced appearance that porcelain veneers provide quickly and with very little time in the dentist chair. Our patients love the durability of the product, making it a great choice for fixing minor cosmetic imperfections, including teeth that are chipped, cracked, gaped, crooked or even stained. We are able to make teeth appear longer, shorter, wider, straighter, thinner, whiter, and cleaner.
King Dental is able to provide dental veneers that are matched to your teeth precisely in shape, size and even shade. We use the highest quality of dental porcelain, giving you durability and aesthetic perfection. This restoration should last you several years. Best of all, because veneers have the same opaque look of your natural tooth enamel, it’s nearly impossible to spot that you are wearing veneers at all.
How Can Veneers Change my Look?
At King Dental, we can use veneers to conceal a number of cosmetic issues. These issues include:
- chipped teeth
- cracked teeth
- discolored teeth
- to straighten teeth
- to even the length of teeth
- fill in gaps between teeth
Veneers vs. Crowns
Dental Veneers are different than dental crowns. Veneers are a thin shell that are placed on the outside surface of a tooth to cosmetically repair teeth. Crowns are a cap the surrounds the entire tooth, they are used to provide strength and structure to a tooth. Dental veneers are a simple and pain free way to improve your smile.
How are veneers placed?
Placing dental veneers is simple. This process will take two office visits. At the first visit, Dr. King will prepare the tooth, or teeth, to receive the veneer. Dr. King will need to permanently alter the original tooth structure. He will reduce some of the original tooth structure. Next, he will take a mold or impression of your teeth which will be sent to our dental lab. A temporary veneer is placed until your permanent veneer is ready. The veneer will be created in the lab and we will notify you when we have received it.
At your second appointment, with your new permanent porcelain veneers ready, Dr. King will check the fit and then bond the veneer into place. Our goal is to make sure your veneer fits correctly and comfortably, giving you a flawless look.
How do I take care of my new veneers?
You will appreciate how easy it is to care for your new porcelain veneers. You can brush and floss daily just as you would care for your natural teeth. During your regular dental appointments, Dr. King will check the bond on your veneers, but they should last for years to come.
We are happy to answer your questions on dental veneers.
